A group of Paremoremo residents are gathering historical information on Paremoremo. The intention is that eventually we will have amassed enough material to incorporate in book form.
When we originally set up the project we had hoped, rather optimistically, that we might have something worth publishing by now. However, people keep popping up with fresh stuff at intervals and so the time lag has been beneficial.
Stories, photos and artefacts are being sourced and recorded so that the history of the area will be saved for future generations. For now, we will provide as much as possible on this website, but at some stage in the future, produce it in a hard copy format.
